Around the Gili Islands, snorkeling is a very popular activity.
It allows you to discover the richness of the sealife of these islets, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno. You will swim with turtles, admire underwater sculptures, see a wreck, and more.
Snorkeling tours are conducted by boat. Almost all snorkeling boats are the same style, regardless of their size.
Our boats can start from each of the Gili islands and from Lombok too. We offer only private trips to avoid to be crowded on one sharing boat.
A boat with a partially glass bottom
All our boats have a glass bottom. This window allows you to admire the sealife when the boat is over shallow water. It also allows those who are not comfortable in the water to discover the marine life of the Gili Islands.
Due to crowds, the boat will not be able to pass over the statues (unless, perhaps, you take one of our early bird tours).
As for turtles, it is highly likely you will see them at the surface when they come up for breathe.
Presentation of one of our snorkeling boats in the Gili Islands
These are usually wooden boats. They have a very shallow draft. Therefore, boarding is done directly from certain beaches (but at low tide, many of the Gili Islands’ beaches are inaccessible or difficult to access with a boat).
He has a roof and a removable ladder to get back on.
The snorkeling equipment provided includes life jackets, if you need them.
Here are some photos of one of our glass-bottom snorkeling boats.

With a glass bottom boat

The boat is enough for 6-8 people. If you are more we will use a bigger boat for your Gili islands tour.

We offer only private boat trips for your snorkeling Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno.
